How Does Sponsoring Help Families?
By sponsoring a room in the Day House you are able to help families with children who are situationally unhoused by providing them with a comfortable and safe place to stay while they take their next steps to securing stable housing.
Creating a Trauma Informed Space
FPCOS has been careful in ensuring that the plans for the Day House are trauma informed. The colors, furniture, and layout are all intentional with the goal of making sure families are able to enjoy a peaceful, clean, and safe space. With your help, we are going to create a space where families feel welcome and are able to focus on making and pursuing life changing next steps.
Sponsorship Opportunities
When sponsoring a room in the Day House you will get to name the room for the time of your sponsorship. Sponsors will be recognized on our website, highlighted in a social media post, and on the monthly newsletter. Sponsors will also be publicly thanked at the Day House open house in August and will have permission to use the Family Promise of Colorado Springs logo on their website.
