Keeping Families

Together & Housed in Colorado Springs

For 28 years, Family Promise of Colorado Springs has helped families with children overcome housing instability and avoid homelessness. Through prevention services, emergency shelter, and compassionate case management, we provide families with the support they need to build a brighter future.

What We Do

We work with families who are situationally unhoused or at risk of becoming homeless, offering a dignified path toward stability and self-sufficiency. Our programs support families before, during, and after a housing crisis.

Why It Matters

Losing housing doesn’t just mean losing shelter — it means risking a child’s education, mental health, and sense of safety. By intervening early and keeping families together, we help prevent the long-term trauma associated with homelessness.

How You Can Help

Whether you give your time, resources, or voice, your support helps children and parents stay together through crisis and beyond.

Our Approach

Local Support. Long-Term Impact.

At Family Promise of Colorado Springs, we believe that housing is just the beginning. That’s why our approach includes:

  • A newly renovated Day House with private rooms for families in shelter

  • One-on-one coaching and resource navigation

  • Access to laundry, kitchen, and community spaces

  • Connection to local providers for health, wellness, and employment support

"

As we learned, anyone can become homeless. But being together as a family made all the difference. Staying together in shelter at Family Promise was key. If it weren’t for that, I don’t know how we would have survived.
